We thought Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, looked really darling over the weekend at the Beaufort Polo Club.  Enviably slim just six weeks after giving birth to Princess Charlotte, she played with Prince George on the sidelines looking fabulous in a navy and white striped sweater and skinny jeans. Anchors have long been a jaunty, jovial symbol.  A mainstay of prepsters everywhere, anchors find themselves on everything from buttons to shoelaces. There's a symbolic reason we think of anchors fondly.  For one, depending on the design, they generally look like a big smile.   Others view the anchor as a symbol of hope and steadfastness. An anchor is basically a cross resting upon a crescent moon.  This is the perfect balance of feminine and masculine and is both uplifting and reassuring.   Perhaps this is why we have such a love of anchors, and use them throughout our Spring and Summer collections year...
