Anchoring Summer

Anchors have long been a jaunty, jovial symbol. A mainstay of prepsters everywhere, anchors find themselves on everything from buttons to shoelaces. There's a symbolic reason we think of anchors fondly. For one, depending on the design, they generally look like a big smile.
Others view the anchor as a symbol of hope and steadfastness. An anchor is basically a cross resting upon a crescent moon. This is the perfect balance of feminine and masculine and is both uplifting and reassuring.
Perhaps this is why we have such a love of anchors, and use them throughout our Spring and Summer collections year after year,
